I love this scale. It is accurate to a tenth of a pound. It can switch to kilos if wanted. I like the large numbers. The base is large enough that balance is not an issue. We had an old Thinner that was destroyed in a flood so I trusted the brand for accuracy.

|Excellent bathroom scale,
this is a great scale: I already own an earlier model Thinner scale and both provide accurate, consistent results
Before I bought this scale, I tried an EatSmart scale which did not require a tap to weigh yourself: that was convenient but I got inconsistent results: and every time you moved it, you had to go through a recalibration process which is a pain: if someone else moved the scale and did not recalibrate it, the readings would be even more inaccurate: I will say the EatSmart display is brighter and easier to read, hence the Thinner gets 4 stars out of 5. I returned the EatSmart scale and bought the Thinner
Thinner is the winner here if you want accurate, consistent readings
